BUT recently rumors about the banning of BMX started circulating. That stirred up heavy reactions and we've started an online petition that has reached over 200 entries within just a few hours.Malmo, situated in the very south of Sweden, and is close to Denmark, Germany and the rest of the countries in that area, it is not strange that riders from these countries would want to visit this huge concrete ramp complex. You just need to cross the bridge, it's not that far! This would of course be a good thing for the city of Malmo, the increase in tourism, and it would definitely put the city on the map for having this awesome place to ride/skate.
So now I'm asking you to help us in our cause to try to get the BMX-ban revoked. We all want to ride there and keep it open for everyone who practices a sport that utilizes ramps of this kind.If you want to sign, read the following. And please submit all personal info except for the optional fields that are, well, optional.
Submitted information will not be used for anything else but this petition, and everything except name, age, location and comment will be hidden to the public!

This petition is a protest against the fact that bicycle-riders will be discriminated against in the newly built concrete park (Stapelbaddsparken) in Malmo. The project have cost the city of Malmo and their taxpayers several millions, and now it is supposedly decided that a certain group of athletes is to be shut out of the facility.This decision is then backed up by false arguments that have been proven wrong time and time again!
We don't feel that this is right and therefore we've created this petition that will be sent to every person that has a say in this matter. We have to show that this type of discrimination won't be tolerated in Sweden, not in any way.
