If an organisation could put together a "Perfect wish day" for you, what would it look like? Would it involve fast cars, limos and BMX? Probably. 10 year old Glen had the day of his life last Tuesday when he got picked up at school. He could choose to have a ride in a Porsche or a limousine because it was going to be HIS day. He opted for the Porsche to go to an exclusive Mercedes dealer where he got a ride in SLR AMG or whatever they're called. From there the trip went to 040BMX park

because Glen likes BMX. At Pim's new place he was met by a bunch of good riders who had made their way to Eindhoven to show Glen some tricks. Glen was welcomed by
Rik and
Niels of Vans Benelux who got him in new gear top to bottom. An 18" bike was built up for Glen to try out. Since Glen has an illness it wasn't sure how well he could ride the bike but
Pim van den Bos was by his side to tell him what to do and where to go. Within minutes he picked it up and he was cruising all around the park together with his sister and mother.
Nicky van der Veen, Stijn Staal, Bart Mol, Sven Grieten, Leroy Kleppe, Isaac Lesser and a bunch of others rode the new park and impressed the Make A Wish foundation posse including the limo driver.

It was obvious that Glen was having a good time as he did not want to leave. But more was on the program for the rest of the day. At the end of the session Glen was shown a special video message by his favourite rider:
Mat Hoffman. The Condor had gone out of his way to film a special video message and hit his vert ramp just for the 10 year old. Awesome.
Glen's dream day had become reality and it was good to witness it first hand. Thanks to all involved. Enjoy the pics.
