On Friday the official opening took place of the 040BMXPARK in Eindhoven, Netherlands. A few pre-sessions had taken place prior to the opening day but from now on the park has regular opening hours and is open to everyone. Pegs allowed. The crew has worked hard and built a few indoor park with the help of the ramps they got donated by the rebeljam. The separate room on the side and the to be finished bowl are two nice extra's for those who make the trip to Strijp-S. It's € 6 Euros to ride and you'll need to bring your helmet. Wearing one is never a bad thing. The foampit might be soft, but if that bike drops on top of your head you'll thank your bucket for it.
During the opening session Monster Energy came over to flip some burgers and to keep everyone full of energy. It was crowded, but not too crowded so everyone got their runs in. It rules to have an indoor BMX park around that is built for and by BMX riders. Many sessions will follow. Find all the info on the new 040BMXPARK website. You can rent the place for private
