Sergio Layos, Lima Eltham and Ben Hennon rode one of the oldest and most unique spots in the world. George Marshall captured the action. On the small island of Gozo exists an ancient landscape of quarter pipes, banks and hips all carved into the rock by the forces of erosion over thousands of years.
As a freak of nature, one section of cliffs beside the Mediterranean ocean has naturally eroded into a very unique but bizarre skate park of perfect and less perfect transitions. The spot was first
discovered by local riders from the neighbouring island of Malta.
Using their bikes as tent pegs and with some help from the Maltese locals,
Hennon, Lima and
Sergio all camp out on the hard rocks beside historical salt pans and nocturnal fisherman to ride the unique spot from dawn till dusk.
