After a while we met riders from other cities. Guys from Warsaw, capital of Poland got the first indoor sk8park so we were travelin' and ridin' with them a lot. For years our city was called a "capital of polish bmx". Now the bmx scene in Poland is huge. A lot of riders shreddin' their local parks, jumps and street spots. Few of them got their footage in SOULmagazine, bmx magazines and they're taking care of business at contests all over the Europe.
A few months ago we opened our indoor sk8park. The city officials gave us a warehouse and some money to start building ramps. We've made a long quaterpipe, vert wall, two jump boxes set up in a rhythm, half bowl, spine, some banks, hips and small foam pit. Most of this work was made by polish company MAKSramps. These guys made a few good sk8park's in Poland.
We're planning to run a big contest at the end of this year (or in the beggining of the next ??) so I would like to INVITE EVERYONE INTERESTED. I'll let you know about the details later! For now please take a look at some polish links and photos.
Thanks for reading!
