I’m sure by now most of you are familiar with the life changing injuries that Stephen Murray sustained back in June at the Baltimore Dew Tour. This accident occurred just days prior to Props Rock-N-Roll Tour hitting the road. Obviously, Stephen Murray was heavy on our minds the entire trip. Like almost everybody in the BMX world, we wanted to do what we could to help out.
So, European dirt jumper friends, I guess it´s getting cold over there, your dirt jumps are getting constant rain, you can´t get the puddles off the run-ups, the lips are soft, your hands hurt from the cold. There is a solution, here in Colombia, Cali, it is an average of 25 celsius during the day, t-shirt by night. The dirt jumps here consist of three big sets, a burm, and two last jumps, the dirt is perfect, no rocks. So, here in Colombia, for all those who don´t know there is a very high level of Dirt Jumping, various companies are sponsoring the event and should be a good one. There will be prize money, so, if there are any dirt riders that want to check out this amazing place, don´t think twice, you are not going to get kidnapped, or shot at. I can guarantee that here you will one of the best times of your life. Colombia is one of the most amazing countries in the world and has tons to offer. So start practicing your salsa dancing, tune up your bike, and head over to South America to witness some badass riding, you are assured to have a blast.
The Foundations Organization, a youth outreach BMX group, and our friends the 'Anytime' crew are throwing a Ramp Jam/Contest in Venice, California on Thanksgiving Weekend (25 November 2007). Icerair 2007: BMX will be represented at the vert demo by Koji Kraft and Jimmy Walker. If you like that kind of music, Mos Def and Talib Kweli will be playing as well. The course is being built by Mike Krnaich who runs Ramp Rats. This is the largest bmx event in the Bay Area so drop by and check it out. If you get bored of watching the bikes there is always the FMX guys, the skiers and the skaters. 
WillemII Den Bosch in the Netherlands is a small club where I used to go to see concerts of 7 Seconds, Gang Green, Suicidal Tendencies, Negazione etc and this was the first time in a long time I was in that place and it didn't change, they only added a bar on the side but that's about it. I invited the Paul's Boutique team again and of course we had trouble to get in cause the guestlist was gone or didn't arrive but after some smooth talking and help of Berry (Eastpak Jos' Assistant) we managed to get in. (Pim/Riccardo/Dennis/Michael & Elise and me). 
You can get the impression that all we do is party. Well, let's say it's part of what we do. Having a good time is an important aspect of life and being involved in BMX or the BMX industry, it's hard to avoid having a good time. Athletes and orga people were invited for a drink at the T-mobile Extreme Playground contest in Berlin. A small area was transformed into a bar and thanks to Mike Emde's new Casio we have some papparazi pics for you. Check 'em!
In NZ we used to have X-Air, our kind of mini version of the X Games...... but alot more chilled out. Well it's no more so now we have the EDH local Assault Jam in November. Run by riders, well more like run by a single rider, Travis Peek. Find the info on the flyer on the right.
