Hi, this is just a quick update from Denver and California. First of all Stephen would like to say how humbled he is by Shirley and Lyndsey's gesture at Ross's funeral that donations should go to the Family Fund. How Ross's family could actually think of Stephen at the worst time in their lives is a tribute to them and to Ross and neither Stephen or any member of the our Family can express our gratitude for their support at such a sad time.

-Actual Journal Entry "I picked up Mike Hammond at Ron Bonner's house. Then we went to the Orlando skatepark & watched flatland. Then when Stephanie & I walked out to the car to get something, Kevin Pare followed me out. (He's the guy who I broke a bottle over his head on the last night of the Columbus X-mas race) he was really hyped up to fight me, so we started fighting. We did a good amount of wresting and then a bit of boxing and standing around. He got the better half of me. I definitely didn't win. We ended up shaking hands & saying "it's all cool." Then I went back & watched the rest of the flatland contest. After the contest, Stephanie & I went back to her house & I stayed the night there."

No official afterparty was on the program after the T-mobile Extreme Playgrounds contest was over. It doesn't really matter as long as everyone goes to the same place. Skateboarders and BMX-ers got together at the hotel bar to have a drink before everyone goes their own way again. Good times were had until the German swat team showed up with 25 man strong. Strange because only two beer glasses broke that night and there were no fights. Oh well.......
The top names in BMX street will gather in Asbury Park, New Jersey to battle on a course made for the truly down and dirty. On November 4th, teams of BMXers from coast to coast and across the pond will all descend upon the ruins of the Asbury Park Casino – a relic of the dilapidated seaside town. What may be an eyesore to some is the perfect spot for the street dogs to get gritty on obstacles that will be brought in – including a 54 foot articulated New York City bus with rails, an old taxi cab and quite fittingly, Jersey barriers. 
Terry Adams recently did some gorilla style demos (or is it guerilla?) in Madison, Wisconsin. Red Bull flew him over there and his friend Adam Buck shot and edited the flatland movie. Since you like movies we will give you the link to the final production: HIT THIS!
