Name: Jeremy Golden (Goldie)
Hometown: Raised in SoCal made the move to AZ in 2001
Started riding BMX in: Started in 1984
Number of bikes in the collection: 12 completes, almost enough parts for 6 more.
Do you remember the moment that you decided to start collecting BMX memorabilia?
Jeremy Golden: I started collecting right around 2004. I built my Hawk f-20 that I had since the end of 91 for my son to ride and after he was done riding it there was a few parts missing and I wanted to build it back up. I then realized there was a collector’s market when searching for parts and that spurred my desire to search for the other bikes I was enamored by as a kid.

How did you end up riding for Hyper bikes?
Nic Long: They reached out to my dad to run a factory team, and they wanted an Elite men as well. So, Dad asked me and the deal was better than my Haro deal... so I couldn’t say no. Plus, I get to help my Dad got for another team title. Like the good ole days.
You had a signature frame at Haro which had a long rear end. What's the benefit of the long back-end?
Nic Long: Idk if I’d say benefit, more so plagued haha. I almost can’t ride anything else now. It started cause I had a gate at my old house (that most had been to and tried) and It was super flat... I would have days where I would just wheelie over and over so I’d add a link, ultimately leading Derek Betcher to ask if I wanted a custom size cause my bolts were hanging off the drop outs.
See what my BMX set up looks like for 2018, as well as take a little look through my house and at my local skatepark Caloundra. I ride this bike at the skatepark and at Nitro Circus, I never need to change anything on it. Hope you enjoy the video!
Today we have an awesome video that shows just how much I have truly progressed since my accident. Most of the time we show riding progression or walking progression but we never really focus on the day to day activity progression. Everyday I am starting to get more feeling back in my hands and today I am building up a custom jet fuel hyper and snafu bike to match my bike for and awesome customer we have named Mike.
What can you say about Ryan Williams (R Willy) This crazy kid joined the circus. He is full time athlete for Nirto Circus. He travels this planet performing worlds first on a nightly basis.
So its official I am now resigned my contract for HYPER BMX and I could not be more happy to tell you guys that it is Official. So I told Big Boy to pick me up and take me to the bike shop so I could build up my new bike with the HYPER BMX team. Then after we built it up I sat on a bmx bike for the first time since my crash and it was amazing. I went to the skatepark after for a pizza jam and it was amazing time. I am so glad I got to see a ton of riders in once place its been so long. Also Big Boy goes for a flair world record.
