We're honored to begin a collaboration with the Toby Wells YMCA to bring our message of healthy eating, staying active and introducing BMX to local children from military households with our Ride to End Obesity Program. Our recent visit to Hancock Elementary, a 100% military household school, is just the beginning of this positive movement.
BMX racers teach kids at Black Mountain Middle School about good decision-making, healthy lifestyle choices, how to combat bullying and how to maintain their bike. Proudly sponsored by WD-40 BIKE.
We're kicking off our 4th year of the Ride to End Obesity After School Program in San Diego with the goal of educating young people on the importance of eating well, staying active, being a hero against bullying and an introduction to BMX Racing. We have been fortunate to reach more than 2000 kids locally with this positive message and we look forward to continued expansion. It is the responsibility of all of us involved in the sport to give back at the grass roots level and to get more kids on BMX bikes.
