Starting from 1 January 2007 4Down distribution will do the exclusive UK distribution of S&M, Fit Bike Co., Metal Bikes and Revenge. In other 4Down news, their limited edition 4Down seats (pictured) will be available shortly. The United Trinity and Squad frames are available now as are the United seats, forks, handlebars and sprockets.

-Scotty Cranmer is resting up from his crash at the Dew Tour. Scotty had a event at is home turf and rumors are watch out. The next Scotty Cranmer will come out of Incline Village. Scotty will be back next year and ready to go. Ryan Guettler also crashed pretty hard in Orlando and just got back on his bike from his shoulder injury. Ryan will be going home to Australia this winter and will be back for next year ready to destroy. Ryan is also going to throw some local contest back at his home parks in Australia.

There's the awesome party crew in the States that seems to be a crazy bunch. It's unbelievable they haven't gotten more press so far. FATBMX thought it was time for a change and caught up with Joe Gall. Let's bring it on!

Team Young BMX, how did it all start?
Team Young: It all started with a road trip to Florida one winter with Mark Flipowitz, Chris Hatfield, Matt Sivilelli, Evan Malburg, Josh Steir, and Myself (Joe Gall). The last four guys listed thought of themselves as the "young ones" and started shouting Team Young when the older dudes wanted to sleep. We were all about riding everyday, partying every night. After the trip the name stuck and eventually the website was created.

What is it that you guys do?
Team Young: I guess our mission is to bring the scene together through parties and jams. We document the BMX lifestyle and bring out the positive in people. 

After a hard crash in Albequerque busted up the arm of JEFFERY UPSHAW, the bones were X-rayed and set, and Upshizzle hopped on a plane back to Ohio Monday morning; rather than the scheduled drive with JASON CARNE$ to Nellis for the big NBL season opener. Back home, doctors had a look and Jeff went in for surgery Thursday morning to have 2 plates and screws put in. One of the bones had been set good and wouldn’t need any plates, while the other bone would. Jeff said he was told it would be a 4 to 6 week healing process, and that he is hoping to return in time for the NBL Christmas Classic. “I always seem to do better after some time off,” he said, “because I miss BMX so much.”

When Chris Doyle was let go by DK because of his involvement with the Duo brand, the questions was who was going to "get him". Everyone knows that Doyle rules and that he's the easiest guy to get along with. His turndown 360-s are the best in the business and never get old. He also has fans across the pond as experienced at the Backyard jam in England last weekend.

Do you miss the time spent on the road doing shows? 

BACO-A-GO-GO 2006 IS IN THE HISTORY BOOKS. IT WAS A CRAZY WEEKEND AND HOPEFULLY EVERYONE THAT CAME OUT HAD A GOOD TIME AND WENT HOME WITHOUT A LOUSY STD. ALL KIDDING ASIDE THOUGH, WE DID HAVE A SCARY INCIDENT THAT INVOLVED TEAM PIMPSKE'S FILTHY PHIL JONES. HIS ATTEMPT TO TOOTHPICK THE SUB BOX ON TOP OF THE HALF BOWL ENDED UP WITH HIM TAKING A REAL NASTY SLAM AND HE HAD TO BE AIRLIFTED TO ORLANDO REGIONAL HOSPITAL. AS OF TUESDAY THE 31ST, THE LATEST WORD FROM THE PIMPSKE SITE IS THAT HE'S BEEN MOVED OUT OF INTENSIVE CARE AND WILL HOPEFULLY BE GOING HOME ON THURSDAY. THE PIMPSKE CREW IS ORGANIZING SOME BENEFITS TO HELP OFFSET PHIL'S MEDICAL EXPENSES SO CHECK THE PIMPSKE SITE FOR INFO AND HELP A BROTHER OUT. WE WISH PHIL A QUICK AND COMPLETE RECOVERY.
