If everyone would be as into BMX as Al Dimino is, the sport would be kicking even more ass. Al flew out West and organized a contest with the help of some friends. Here's the report on his trip:
What a trip it was! First time ever on a plane, was excited..thing took off and I was like "wow this is sick" then after feeling a little out of it I busted out the cd player and Atreyu was rockin it and kept me chill. I then landed in Orange County and outside waiting for me was Ricky "Ratt" Vigil. Guided by a cell phone I found Rick and we were psyched to take on the mission that was in store for the weekend. BMX Invasion Battle #3 at Real Ride Park in Lake Perris, CA. The scenery and weather was so awesome, I was taking photo's left and right. I had about 287 photo's at the end of my 4 and a half day stay!!

After almost seven years of loyal riding and working for Kink, Jim has decided to concentrate and put his efforts behind his own projects, which include Sunday skate and bike store in Buffalo, NY. Kink already recently added Danny Hickerson to the team while keeping its eye out to maintain a fresh team.
Jim Cielencki had to say the following:

April 1st was not a Fools day, Paul's Boutique BMX organised a huge party for all friends and customers to thank for their support for the last 10 years.
People from all over the country and even Belgium and Germany showed up and were drinking one of the 1200 bottles of Bavaria beer or were BBQ-ing till late in the evening.
After several years at the NEC in Birmingham, the Bike Show moved down South a few miles to Coventry. Not knowing what to expect a strong group of riders made the trip and that includes American based riders such as Corey Bohan, Ryan Nyquist, Gary Young, Nasty, Ryan Guetler, Steve McCann, Jamie Bestwick, Scotty Cranmer, Alistair Whitton, Dave Dillewaard, Axel Jeurgens, Travis Collier and Tom Haugen.
The street course was a weird set-up. First of all the Braun Mini-Ramp was incorporated in the course and you could ride the spineramp during the street comp but it had its own contest too. With this ramp in the middle it did not leave much space for flow or lines. The ramps that were built were very slippery. Although a mix of RedBull and Coke was sprayed on the ramps, the dusty surface made sure people slid out every now and then and that includes photographers (Lard!?). The next
