It was good to see FATBMX supporter FOX present at this year's Eurobike show in Friedrichshafen. They took Oakley's spot pretty much and were outside, right next to the track. A good spot when the weather is nice, a bad spot when it rains. But FOX came well prepared with a great booth which had a solid roof on top. Just in case. The new BMX/MTB gear looks great and covers you head to toe from Helmet to Goggle to Jersey, Gloves and Race pants. It even lets you wear your favourite protection gear underneath.

This year we had a weekend off when the Motocross Grand Prix takes place in Lierop. Although there are always BMX jams and contests on the schedule, going to a MX GP 10 minutes from the house sounds too appealing. The weather didn't look too good so staying close to home had its advantages, my own bed for instance. The Lierop track is rough. The deep sand makes it hard on the riders and the machines to do lap after lap. The overnight rain on Saturday didn't make it any easier. Sand specialists were the only riders

Good to see your style back on the BMX scene. When did you start racing BMX?
Steven: Thanks, feels so good to be back on my bike. I love BMX. I started racing BMX at age 7 so about 20 years ago. Time flys !
As far as I remember right, you made it to the pro HARO BMX team. What did that mean to you?
Steven: Yes I was on Haro along side Khalen Young from 2008-2010. It was good times and we had a lot of success as a team and I learned a lot being on that team and have lots of great memories.
After doing a BMX 'zine for ten years (1987 - 1996) FATBMX made it on the internet. The year was 1998. Here to stay.
