June, 2006 – Oklahoma City, OK - Mat Hoffman, of Hoffman Bikes, and Mark Owen, owner of newly formed Sidewall Distribution, LLC, announced today that Sidewall Distribution will manage and become the exclusive USA distributor of the Hoffman Bikes Brand. Kampi BMX welcomes everyone to Finland in the end of july tofor the King of Finland BMX event! We are about to experience the largest Finnish BMX jam and competition again this summer in Helsinki, Savela skatepark. The event takes place on saturday, 29th of July with park competition in two different classes: juniors and masters. Also best trick will be voted amongst riders so you can expect some crazy things to happen. After the event we will gather nearby to watch Finnish BMX movies, current editions as well as golden captures from 90's.

Arcadia, California – As with most countries today in lieu of the World Championships in Brazil and the 2008 Olympics, the country of Chile in South America has made the move to step up their BMX program. Although Chile has a long history of BMX racing in numerous World Championships and has its share of World Champion riders, Chile is serious about showing the world that they can compete with the best! The Chilean BMX Federation (or FCBX – Federacion Chilean Bicicross) has recently restructured itself and put new people in charge of moving Chilean BMX in the right direction.

NBL’s classic weekend in South Park, PA is within sight and serves as the last chance for NBL’s Elite Series points as well as the final two races in the NBL/UCI Series. For the second time this season, NBL will award more than $30,000 in prize payouts throughout the various NBL and UCI classes. The famous South Park BMX track has been updated and promises to provide one of the best weekends of racing in the season. Only 1 point separates Free Agent’s Kyle Bennett and Formula’s Donny Robinson at the top of the NBL Elite series standings but Staats/TLD’s Robert de Wilde and GT’s Randy Stumpfhauser will have two more shots to catch the leaders. Kuwahara’s Matt Pohlkamp sits in the #5 position but will have Avent’s Jarrett Kolich and CMC’s Jason Rodgers to contend with.

Okay BMX-ers, we need your vote again. Jamie Bestwick has been nominated for an Espy award. It's a pretty big deal as Lance Armstrong is the host of the awards that are held on 16 July 2006.

Jamie is up against some serious competition in the form of Ricky Carmichael, Shaun White, Kelly Slater and Jeremy Stenberg in the male action sports category.

The Red Bull Elevation Dirt contest in Whistler Canada is one of those events that the dirt riders are looking forward to. Last year's event was a huge success and getting on the invited rider list this year was a priority for most of them. We checked in with a couple of riders who are going up to Canada this weekend.

Did you go to the Elevation last year?
-Alejandro Caro: I couldn't go because I tore my ACL two weeks before the contest
-Adam Baker: No I was recovering from a near fatal crash at the x-games
-Corey Bohan: Sure did. Was pretty much the best dirt contest I've been to.
-Benny Korthaus: Yes I went there last year as well
-Dave Dillewaard: No I didn't. Very mad but nothing was stopping me from going this year.
-Lance Mosley: I'd love to answer your questions but I turned down the invite. It's one of the hardest things I've ever had to do. Hopefully they'll invite me next year and I'll for sure be there.
-Anthony Napolitan: No, I was supposed to but I could not make it.
