The Greater Columbus Convention Center was packed with thousands of BMX fans and spectators and it was even more filled with the buzz of one of the greatest NBL National events. The Christmas Classic and President’s Cup are always alive with anticipation and excitement and this year was no exception. With the combination of these two events and the addition of the UCI Continental races, race fans were supplied with the ultimate dose of race action to cure their cabin fever.

Race action commenced with Thursday’s President’s Cup, over 30 states battled for the ultimate title. Ohio had a lot to prove as last year’s Cup winners, but Florida wasn’t going to give up with out a fight. However, Michigan surprised everyone with a solid day of racing, proving to all that they were a force to be reckoned with.

Shops are having sales like crazy. The people at Parano Garage are not holding back. Orchid shoes for real cheap and not just one model either. The Wiz, the Vandever 2, Duval, Hex, the Lurker, Porter, Majestic, all on sale right now. Support the BMX companies.

If you've wanted to have your own photo published in a BMX magazine but that hasn't happened so far, this is your chance. The German quality BMX mag by the name of Zwanzig Zoll (20") is having a reader photo contest. A long as it has something to do with BMX you can send in your favorite photo. It doesn't matter if it's colour or black & white, a contest photo or a picture taken at a jam. Head judge will be Zwanzig's staff photographer David Ulrich who will pick the ten best shots. Next to winning a couple of TSG photobags and stuff, the pics will be published in issue number 22.
