The Dew dirt champ is going to the Metro Jam to show what he's got on the street/park course. Read on what he thinks about going to Singapore and check what parts he's got on his Hoffman Loyalty that he will bring with him on the plane.

Anthony Napolitan: The past 2 in Toronto.

What are you expecting of the trip?
Anthony Napolitan: Definitely a good time, I've never been to Singapore, so it should be a culture shock.

Being in a different part of the world together with fellow riders does that automatically mean good times? 

Sometimes you see an ad and you wonder how that would ever work. That's the case with the latest FELT BMX ad. You start to think it's photo shop trickery or he just did it for the photo and didn't pull it. That's where video comes in.
Here's a clip of Scotty Cranmer setting up a couple of benches to fakie wall that piece of wood up there. It's a bit of a way to get up there and it took a couple of tries but once it was in the bag he started throwing in some variations on the way out. You gotta see this.

Gary Young always does well at the Metro jams. It's the courses that somehow suit his riding. He finds lines that others don't and won't quit until he has pulled that last icepick(grind) that he had in mind. What does Gary think of the Metro Singapore course and what bike is he bringing?

Boy o boy, this is a good one. It actually came in as a myspace comment on the Mirraco site but since there are some youngsters visiting that site (actually it's their parents that might be the problem) we pulled it down from there and moved it into the FATBMX pin-up section where it fits well. You have three days to edit the footage because the video presentation is on Sunday night.

In three weeks FATBMX will be in Singapore for the Metro jam. We're stoked on this opportunity and checked in with a few pros who are going to make the trip as well. First rider up is Clint Millar from Australia. Read on to see what he says. There's a bike check on Clint's wethepeople as well.

How many Metro Jams have you visited prior to the Singapore one?
Clint: I have been to two before, both in Vancouver. Both have been awesome experiences. 

Gabe Weed held another competition this past weekend at Openground in Reno , Nevada. Myself and a dozen other riders from the Bay Area made the drive up North East to get some riding done. If you are ever in Reno make sure you never stay at the Sands Regency hotel. Easily the worst hotel experience I have ever had in all my travels. Minus 5 stars , 2 thumbs down and 1 raised middle finger.

The competition was held on the Saturday and followed the same format as last time with classes for beginner , advanced and pro. The winner of the last comp , South Lake Tahoe's Matthias Weldon, was looking great in all his runs with new lines and loads of style. Unfortunately he went down really hard on a failed tailwhip over the box. 

Last saturday the second Rookie Jam was held in Cologne. About 44 riders entered the BMX Street Contest and competed in the classes ROOKIE and AMATEUR. The Rookies started at first: 28 riders entered, among them 3-year old twins Ben and Zoe Jandt as youngest competitors and 37-year old Udo Eich as oldest Rookie... The Rocker among the Rookies was 8-year old Felix Prangenberg, who ripped the whole street area with a great style. Thomas Genon placed first, followed by Fionn Kortenbrede and Felix Prangenberg.

16 riders entered the Amateur class and showed notable tricks such as 360¹s over the Spine, 540¹s, Wallrides as well as a Backflip, a Tailwhip or a fakie Lookdown. Vadim Bonascher from Cologne became first and won a U-Travel voucher to the amount of 150 EUR, Nikes 6.0 shoes and a Felt Shirt. 

Odessa Footwear's first BMX DVD follows team members Josh Bedford, James Newrick, Cleggy, Mark Tanner, Tom Blyth, James Cox, Dean Hearne, Kelly Bolton and Bomber round Barcelona, Spain for 9 days. A good question is; how do they do this? If you look at the slideshow, it's nothing but drinking the night away and having fun. How can you get up in the morning and produce for a video? Only true pros can do that. We're not sure how much of a boozer Kelly Bolton is but he sure delivered the tricks that the rest of the gang did not want to do or simply could not do. Kelly is a maniac and rides his bike really well. Barcelona is a good city for street riding.  Most spots have been covered but not with a bunch like this.

I am doing a trip from Canada to Chile by van.. I have made it to Guatemala, have been in Cuba for a month, the bmx scene is amazing in Cuba. I should be taking all year to do this trip. I am helping to organize events all throughout Latin America, Nicaragua, Panama, Peru for sure so far. I would like to make it back to Europe once at least this year, we'll see. I have been shooting tons of photos, and writing a lot. This week I'll be exploring El Salvador, before returning to Guatemala to ride with the locals for a couple days. Then onto Honduras.
