It should be forbidden to sell shitty bikes. It benefits noone. The kid that buys the bike will realize that his bike is too heavy, the brakes don't work, the geometry is rubbish and he's stuck riding the bike in the streets only and can forget to do tricks on it. But still, every year we see them at the trade shows. "BMX is hip, let's put one together. Give me that catalog." And before you know it there's that piece of crap. It's even dangerous to ride as the pure steel doesn't hold up on the kid's bike stunts. Motto: Guide the kids to the right bikes please. 
After doing a BMX 'zine for ten years (1987 - 1996) FATBMX made it on the internet. The year was 1998. Here to stay.
