– Rockford, Illinois – Once again, the ABA steamed its way into Illinois for the annual Mid-West Nationals at the legendary Rockford BMX facility just outside of Chicago. With its long first straight and infamous first turn, the stage was set for another classic battle at the “Rock”. Factory Formula / Monster Energy / Fly Racing riders Alise Post, current and reigning National #1 Women’s Pro, A Pro Warren McDow, 17 Expert phenom Lee Lewis, Vet Pro Tim Dinger, 13 Expert Andre Norles and Formula sponsored Arielle Martin were all ready to put it into high gear and show the BMX world what Formula is all about. The team also debuted their sharp, new Factory Team jerseys to rave reviews. Special thanks goes out to Dave Marrietti at the Hot Shoppe for going the extra mile.

NEW YORK - June 19, 2007 - The AST Dew Tour, the world’s premier season-long action sports tour, begins its third season on June 21-24 with the Panasonic Open at Baltimore’s Camden Yards Sports Complex. The five-city tour also includes stops in Cleveland, Portland, Salt Lake City and Orlando. More than 260 professional action sports athletes from around the world-including skateboarder Ryan Sheckler, BMX athlete Jamie Bestwick, and FMX competitor Nate Adams-will return to compete for the Dew Cup, awarded at season’s end to the athlete with the highest number of points in each of the six disciplines: skateboarding, BMX, and freestyle motocross.  

Dave Mirra gives you an update on his company and his team riders. He does this by doing a 15 minute promo video that you can watch for free on the internet. Will Stroud of Nine to Five films produced the video for Mirraco and it has footage of the team riders such as Mike Laird, Ryan Guettler, Dave Rytell, Rob Wise, Nigel Sylvester, Mike Spinner and of course Dave Mirra himself. The Seat Beat exhibition is a collection of just 35 limited wethepeople commisioned seats made for a collective of unique artists. The resultant seats (and the winners from this competition) will be hosted first at the Rebel Jam in Berlin. 

To celebrate the 30-plus years of BMX history and the original P.K. Ripper, DC and SE Racing are joining forces to re-release the P.K. Ripper bike in its original aesthetic for an exclusive limited edition project named “30 Years of Radness”. "With this project we hope to pay tribute to a legendary era of BMX”, says Damon Way, Co-Founder and Executive Vice President of DC.
“30 Years of Radness” is a first of its kind exhibition in London which celebrates the BMX explosion onto the world stage in the 80’s, what many consider as the “golden period”, and its endurance from it. 

NEW YORK - June 18, 2007 - The AST Dew Tour, the world’s premier season-long action sports tour, MTV2 and Mountain Dew today announced they are partnering for a new action sports special, “Action Sports: The Freestyle Life,” about the Dew Tour which will air on MTV2. This is the second consecutive year that they have partnered for this cross-network project. This season the AST Dew Tour and MTV2 have expanded their partnership, broadcasting over two hours of AST Dew Tour coverage on MTV2 from various tour stops. 

The European leg of the LG Action Sports Tour has been cancelled for 2007. Jason Hines, Competition and Demo Events Director explains:   "As you are probably aware, LG is putting forth many marketing initiatives, including the launch of the “Prada”. Due to the limited resources available to other marketing areas, as well all of the dates this summer being gone, we are not producing the full European leg of the World Tour this summer. "

Now in The second station of the Battle in da Club tour 2007, Germany´s first and one and only Bmx Flatland series, will be the Showboxx in Dresden. Date to be is Saturday the 28 of July 2007. If the weather is fine, the event will take place open air as well as indoor!! After the battle of Germany´s and Austria´s 16 finest Flatland riders the both german Hip Hop mega stars will enter the stage: „Dein Lieblingssoundsystem“ including SIDO & DJ BinIchNich aka Harris! A really hot and excessive “after battle” party is preassigned!
