Red Bull Illume, the world’s largest international photography competition dedicated to action and adventure sports, is making a stop in Atlanta March 20 through March 30, 2014. Once the sun sets, locals and visitors alike are invited to stroll through Piedmont Park and take in the sights of 25 life-sized, illuminated light boxes that are touring the world as part of a unique nighttime exhibition. The images, which have been carefully selected and curated from over 28,000 submitted photographs, showcase the most exciting and creative action sports photography on the planet. Throughout the free 10-day exhibition, attendees also will have opportunities to attend lectures from the award-winning photographers, meet Red Bull professional athletes and more. The 2013 Red Bull Illume Image Quest is the third edition of the competition after 2007 and 2010. A total of 28,257 photos were submitted last year by 6,417 photographers from 124 countries around the globe. The top 50 images, first unveiled in Hong Kong, are now touring the world as part of a unique illuminated nighttime

Ricky Adam: The first edition sold out in under 3 months of being published. There was a 1000 printed. I was then approached by ‘Drago’ an art publisher from Italy to make a 2nd expanded edition

The opening of the photo exhibition "Red Bull Through My Eyes" happened last friday at the "12 mail" gallery in Paris! There were some of the photos Matthias Dandois took during his trips, as well as a wallpaper full of his Instagram pics, and a bunch of rad photos that Hadrien Picard, Vincent Perraud and Dimitri Coste shoot of Matthias the past 5 years. Matthias Dandois: "This project was really important for me, since it's definitely something different than the stuff I usually do, and it also involved 3 of my great friends (the photographers).
