After 5 days of riding at camp everyone was ready for a change. So we called Ryan to make his invite valid. Nate Wessel had to drive to Greenville anyway so he escorted us for the 8 hour trip. Being on the road is pretty boring... arriving in Greenville at midnight we were stoked to have at least 20 degrees warmer weather, well, at least for a day. we checked into the hotel and Ryan picked us up the next morning to bring us to the unit.
Dude, seriously, this place is the best thing in the world. I fell in love straight away! It's so good you can't describe it.
Nate Wessel and his crew really created a masterpiece of a park. In the Unit you can possibly find any kind of ramp you ask for, plus they are all connected to each other, and that was the hardest... you had to forget your normal skatepark riding style, here you had to learn some lines - and there are thousands!!!!.
But once you have one you're addicted and you want more and more. Of course everyone had a great time and I can't thank Ryan enough for letting us ride his place. There are lots of riders riding every day anyway, so even when Ryan was out of town for a day,
Colin Mackay, Stephen Lilly, Marcus Tooker, Ryan Guettler or
Josh Harrington came shreddin'. It was pretty cool.
Thanks to everyone for helping us out.
