AN EPIC FINAL DAY IN JEDDAH. Wins for Dandois and Dhers.

Over 137,000 attendees have joined us in Jeddah over the 3 days. An absolute record for a first stop of a FISE event! Before the events even began riders were already up and at it exploring Jeddah Old City. I think you will agree the traditional Saudi Arabian outfits rather suit them!

BMX FREESTYLE FLATLAND

It was a scorching hot day but that didn't stop athletes giving it their absolute all! The first final of the day was in BMX Flatland. The event was full of surprises as the battle between Jean William Prevost and Matthias Dandois continued, the question on everyone’s lips was could anyone stand in the way

of one these guys taking the top spot? The performances of all the riders were stunning but in the end Matthias couldn't be prevented from walking away with the top prize and deservedly so. This French rider has consistently been a winner at FISE events for the last few years and we can’t wait to see what he has in store for the rest of the season.

BMX FREESTYLE PARK:

The crowd had gathered in their masses to watch the BMX Freestyle final. British Rider Declan Brooks had finished first in qualification could he hold on to the lead, or would another rider manage to take it from him? There were strong runs and big scores from Brandon Loupos and Kostya Andreev. In the end it finished up Anthony Jeanjean from France in third place, Declan Brooks in second and Daniel Dhers from Venezuela took first place with an extremely impressive technical round.

FISE riders and crew have been impressed by this huge launch of the season, and with such a nice opening there is no doubt that the Hiroshima first official stop from the 6 to the 8 of April will be sick!
