The Mini FATJAM simply brings riders together for an afternoon of dirt riding. It was good to see the crew of BMX-Amsterdam bring their youngsters to the Sugar Hills. Also riders from Belgium, the Geldermalsen crew, Jari Roggeveen, Niels van Maaren, Daniel Wedemeijer, Tom van den Bogaard and Pim Scheers found their way to Aarle-Rixtel as they lined up with the younger riders on the starting hill. Riding together, free of charge, until you think it's ready for a break. Pics were taken, clips were filmed and around 16:00hr the goodies that were provided by the sponsors were given out to those who deserved it. Thanks to 100%, Paul's Boutique, FIST making sure everyone went home with a new T-shirt, beanie, hat, speaker-set or at least a sticker sheet. Everybody happy? Yeah!!!!!
The good part about throwing the jam is that the trails are now in top shape. Even after a day of riding, a little fixing in between got the jumps back in shape and with a week of fine weather coming up the dirt sessions will be back up again. If you did not make it this time, you've got an other chance. The annual FATJAM will take place in August, the 30th edition, something you don't want to miss.
