Nice to see that the points up for grabs and the beautiful park built by Hurricane attract so many athletes from abroad. The attendance will feast their eyes on some of the best athletes Europe has to offer. The quali go down pretty easily and and without trying too hard, the best athletes sort everything out.
In the final we have all the UK riders plus Weidmann, Teul and two of our riders, Benetton and Galli.
Finally the battle becomes more heated, the boys increase the number of rotations and the combos become more complex, 360 Double whip to barspin, 720 can, 540 flair. It’s difficult to see a single trick, on any type of ramp.
They face off like fighting cocks and when the dust settles the podium emerges. Third Shaun Gornall with a varied run, second Jack Maguire with some impressive combo and first Mr. James Jones, the welsh rider make some minor mistakes but impress the jury with both of his runs.
