Can you relate more to Matt Beringer than to Scotty Cranmer for instance?
Aaron: Haha. Those two guys are on a whole other level then I am or BMX. Beringer is just nuts and Scotty is soo dialed that he is just making up new stuff cause he can do everything haha, but those two dudes are both super cool. Would have fun riding with them both.
At what contests or jams can you do your own thing without feeling guilty of spending your sponsor's travel budget?
Aaron: I go to all contest just to have fun so if I’m going it’s because I’m going to have a good time. But I am really into Metro, that has been really fun for me the last two times and will be going to the next one for sure, but I also like the empire BMX jam, it is always a good time.
Who are your sponsors these days and do they understand who you are and what you want to do?
Aaron: I hope so haha, that’s why I’m on there I think. They’re all really cool and I would like to thank them all for everything; FBM bikes, empireBMX, Odyssey, Etnies, V-club, Lifeline and Kronik Energy drinks.
How was your trip to Japan?
Aaron: Amazing, I will never forget that trip, I had so much fun seeing the place it was so different, well of course, but it was just insane. I will hopefully make it there some day again.
What's a trip you're looking forward to?
Aaron: There’s an FBM trip here pretty soon which will be super fun but I’m really looking forward to Road Fools 15, that will be a good time.
Do you go to school or do you work all day?
Aaron: I do nothing at all, I ride all day or jump on the trampoline, haha.
Who's in your posse you ride with on a regular basis?
Aaron: Carlos, who you will see on Mega Tour, Kris M, Lupe, Prince, Lee, Austin Nick V, IDK and Nick A. There’s more but I’m tired haha, so I’m sorry dudes.
What spots do you hit with them?
Aaron: The wall, it’s this ditch and downtown and Texas A &M CC is always a good time or we just ride my backyard.
Is Texas a good state to live in when you ride BMX?
Aaron: Hell yeah. Texas is good for everything man haha, um Austin is so good if you ever have a chance to go to Austin you should go for sure.
What do you do to handle the summer heat?
Aaron: Haha, I don’t. I swim or travel and ride at night only. It gets really hot here
