Koji: Yes..... well kinda. Riding I remember. After that not to much but I know it was one of the best times I have ever had!!!!!
How did it feel to win that contest so far from home?
Koji: Awesome! Need I say more...? Well first of all I didn't have much money till I won, so that made it feel a whole lot better..
Can you describe the feeling of a world championship contest?
Koji: I can really describe it besides one of the best contest I have ever been to also why I can't really tell you is cause I would spoil the great feeling this comp has. Your just going to have to come and see for your self! You wont be disappointed
Did you put your world title to good use over the years as far as gigs and sponsorships are concerned?
Koji: Well I didn't but the promoters and anouncers did. They love to announce someone with that title but for me it was just a lucky run where it all worked out and I somehow came out on top.
You're coming back for more this weekend. Ready to defend your title on mini?
Koji: ahhhhhh sure I guess. lol. I am just hoping that this comp will be as fun or if not more fun than the last one.
Any other disciplines you're going to enter?
Koji: I want to do vert, mini, dirt, and park. So I hope it works out that I can ride them all cause I just found out about the comp last week from Catfish who I had picked up on a layover in Chicago for a few hours and talked me into going.
Do you prepare in a special way for this contest?
Koji: Yes, Yoga ninjaing and Gun fighting, but that's the secret. lol. No I have been doing shows with Micha in Milwalkee for summerfests division BMX stunt team
Having fun is part of the game. Are you going to succeed in that part in Cologne?
