The winner of last year’s Dew Tour (park) is about to enter his first Metro BMX jam ever. He has a bit of a flight to take to get there and he’s packing a different bike than he rode in 2006. Daniel Dhers means business as everyone witnessed last year, can he do the same in 2007?

Daniel Dhers: This is going to be my first one.

Rob Wise: Just one. It was in Vancouver

What are you expecting of the trip?
Rob Wise: To have fun, and to say I’ve done it.

S&M has some great riders on their team. Once bigger companies notice the talent and offer a ride that includes travel, it's easy to make the move. Rob Darden is a rider like that. He did not leave S&M because of the product, he left because the grass was greener on the other side and it included a monthly paycheck and more traveling. Rob has been around and is about to hop on that plane to Singapore for the Metro jam. After going through his answers you can check out what bike he currently rides.

Rob Darden: 4

What are you expecting of the trip?
Rob Darden: I'm expecting good times with good friends in another part of the world, can't beat that! 

Morgan Wade has been tipped by his fellow riders to be a top candidate for the Metro win in April. Morgan probably doesn't care. He does what he does and whatever happens, happens. As long as we get to see a high table and a flair transfer I'm okay with that.

How many Metro Jams have you visited prior to the Singapore one?
Morgan Wade: I've ridden in 5 Metro Jams so far. My first was the Vancouver Metro in 2004 and I haven't missed one since.

What are you expecting of the trip?
Morgan Wade: To see a new place and have a great time doing so!

Being in a different part of the world together with fellow riders does that automatically mean good times?
Morgan Wade: Always!!! 

Working at Woodward seems like a dream. Lloyd Ramsay met up with Shawn Dorton and had a talk about what it's like to work at ramp heaven.

How many years have you been working at Woodward for?
I started working for Woodward in '95...the summer I turned 18 and was old enough. I came out to Woodward West in '03.

Is it true that your green helmet is older than most of the campers?
Absolutely. A friend of mine brought it out to me while I was a camper at Woodward in '93. I've used it ever since...and have replaced the padding about 6 times. I actually have one original pad and one original rivet in it. 

BB can't wait for the Metro jam to start but he's panicking that he has to ride that course with all these good riders. Maybe he should bring the surf board too, just in case.

How many Metro Jams have you visited prior to the Singapore one?
BB: I think it’s my 4th time at a Metro befor this one 

Ryan Nuquist actually rode with a bad knee for half the season last year. Instead of going in for surgery straight away he toughed it out and rode better than most people in top shape. As soon as the big contests were over Ryan had the surgery done and recovered during the winter months. He is now back on the bike and has the Unit as a private riding facility.

Few riders are as versatile as Colin Mackay. He's good at riding mini ramp, dirt, park, street and if he wanted to I'm sure he could kick ass on vert too. Riding everything well is a bonus. You can pick from more contests that way. Colin is going to the Metro Jam in Singapore and is bringing a new custom painted red and black model Forum. Dave Freimuth might be off MacNeil but that doesn't mean he's off his bike. Dave will meet up with his Colony boys from Australia when he flies over for the Metro Jam in Singapore in a few weeks. Dave is no stranger to good times so he'll be adding his bit while over there.

How many Metro Jams have you visited prior to the Singapore one?
Dave Freimuth: 2 in Vancouver, and 4 in Toronto (2 of which I was spectating due to injury)

What are you expecting of the trip?
Dave Freimuth: I expect to have no idea what I'm eating at any meal unless we find a McDonald's or Subway...

Alistair Whitton: I THINK IVE BEEN TO ALL OF THEM...I DONT THINK JAY WOULD LET ME MISS ONE

What are you expecting of the trip?
Alistair Whitton: I WANT TO BUY DVDS FOR 3 DOLLORS AND FAKE DESIGNER STUFF IN THE HOT SUN SIPPING ON CORONAS AT THE BEACH THEN RIDING BMX WITH YA MATES LIKE
