Telekom Playgrounds. They are well known not only in Duisburg, where they’ve been already 12 years ago but also in Hamburg where the rocked the stage in 2008. So, the Playgrounds know Pennywise – and Pennywise knows the Playgrounds!
Pennywise are in in the punk-business for more than 20 years and they just don´t get tired. Even after the tragic death of bass player Jason Matthew Thirsk in ´96 and the exit of singer Jim Lindberg in 2009, the band stick together and hold up the flag of melodic hardcore. In honor of their late friend and brother they created the “Bro Hymn” which is now the highlight of every Pennywise show.
