Just before the Toyota City Championship round of the Dew Tour, pro BMX rider Drew Bezanson’s fans had a chance to choose the customized bike design they wanted to see him ride at the event. Toyota, DK bicycles and Drew have just donated the exact bike that was ridden at BMX Dirt and Streetstyle events to the Athlete Recovery Fund (ARF)! Athlete Recovery Fund (ARF) is currently working to assist in the recovery of
Brett Banasiewicz after suffering a traumatic brain injury just one week after he won BMX Park at the Dew Tour Pantech Beach Championships in Ocean City so we decided to offer Drew’s bike to the public.
Drew Bezanson was excited about the opportunity to help out,
''When Toyota came up with the idea to customize a bike for Dew Tour it was rad. Then when they got together with ARF and mentioned the idea of giving it away with all the proceeds going to Brett I was psyched. Maddog needs all the help he can get right now and being able to be a small part of that is an honor and so fulfilling, get well soon buddy''.
From October 26 through November 9th 2012, every Five dollar donation you make to the ARF help support Brett and future athletes in need, ARF will give you a raffle entry to win Drew Bezanson’s Custom Toyota DK Bike! This means if you donate $5 you get one raffle entry, $10 you will be entered twice and so on. The more you donate, the better your odds are to take Drew’s bike home. This does not include product purchases at the ARF store.
Visit www.athleterecoveryfund.com and click on the top banner of the home page to make a donation in any amount you choose. The winner will be announced for Drew’s bike on 11-12-12 and the bike will be shipped to that person directly. This is for anyone in the world who would like to donate to the ARF. (Winner may be responsible for tax or tariff on bike, but shipping is included).
Special thanks go out to Toyota, DK Bicycles and Drew Bezanson for offering up this unique and authentic bike!
