Some of the world´s top action sports stars, including Travis Pastrana, Jamie Bestwick, Tony Hawk, Kevin Robinson, Paul Rodriguez, Bob Burnquist and Edgar Torronteras, who will participate in the X Games Barcelona from tomorrow, today attended a training session with FC Barcelona with top players and action sports fanatics Alves, Piqué, Alba, Adriano, Thiago, Jonathan, Pinto and Mascherano. Didac Lee of FC Barcelona’s board of directors also attended the event. Barcelona will welcome the X Games from 16th – 19th May in what promises to be an unprecedented event for the city. X Games Barcelona is bringing together the world’s top specialists in four action sports disciplines (Rally, Moto X, Skateboard y BMX Freestyle), constructing more than 31,000m2 of sports installations, and drawing more than 100,000 spectators.
The event will contribute over 42 million euros annually to the local economy in what promises to be one of the major events in the Barcelona calendar.
