The Dew Tour Toyota City Championships returns to San Francisco October 11-13 for three days of free Skate, BMX and FMX competitions featuring the world’s top action sports athletes including Garrett Reynolds, Drew Bezanson, and Dennis Enarson. Featuring Skate and BMX Street and Streetstyle, BMX Dirt and FMX Triple Threat contests, the Toyota City Championships will also include the family-friendly Dew Tour Experience where fans can interact with Dew Tour partners, meet athletes, skate and ride the Dew Tour fan courses and more. The Toyota City Championships draws on San Francisco’s rich action sports history, with a Street course that includes tributes to iconic San Francisco spots Hubba Hideout and China Banks.
Dew Tour returns with its one-of-a-kind progressive Streetstyle contest, taking over Harrison St., with urban features including shipping containers, scaffolding, curbs, ledges and Toyota vehicles
to build a dream setup for skaters and riders.
Garrett Reynolds will look to hold onto his BMX Street and Streetstyle titles from contenders Dennis Enarson, Drew Bezanson and Chad Kerley. Enarson will be pulling triple duty, competing in BMX Street, Streetstyle and BMX Dirt.
The BMX Dirt course will once again come to life between the Asian Art Museum and San Francisco Public Library. Spectators will gather to see huge airs and technical tricks from Drew Bezanson, Scotty Cranmer, Brandon Dosch, Anthony Napolitan, Kevin Peraza, Daniel Sandoval and more.
Dew Tour Premium Passes, on sale now at DewTour.com, are the perfect way to guarantee a spot in the action, offering fans guaranteed seating or sections, a souvenir credential and an exclusive Dew Tour swag bag. Friday Premium Passes will cost $25; Saturday Premium Passes will cost $50.
On Sunday, October 13, Dew Tour hosts Community Day, giving kids the opportunity to skate the Dew Tour pro street course and ride the Mongoose BMX pump track. Dew Community Day is a way for Dew Tour to thank the city and residents of San Francisco for welcoming the event, athletes and entire industry to their city. The Dew Tour weekend will also feature a concert and the Dew Tour: Recognize photo exhibit, showcasing inspiring skate photography from well known industry photographers.
The 2013 Dew Tour will be available on NBC, NBCSN, Dew Tour Live on DewTour.com, NBC Sports Live Extra and the NBC Sports Live Extra App - the NBC Sports Group’s live streaming product for desktops, mobile devices, and tablets.
