VANS U.S. OPEN TO AIR AS PART OF RED BULL SIGNATURE SERIES SATURDAY AT 4P.M. ET ON NBC

Considered the biggest surf event in the world, Vans U.S. Open of Surfing comes to NBC, as part of the 2013 Red Bull Signature Series. Coverage of the event begins Saturday at 4p.m. ET on NBC. Vans U.S. Open of Surfing also features the Van Doren Invitational with Jam sessions in Skate and BMX featuring up-and-comer Daniel Sandoval. This is the second consecutive year that the U.S. Open of Surfing will be a part of the Red Bull Signature Series. Vans U.S. Open of Surfing is part of the Red Bull Signature Series – made up of one-of-a-kind programming on NBC all year long. Red Bull Media House and Alli Sports, a division of the NBC Sports Group, showcase the most progressive and innovative snowboarding, mountain biking, freestyle motocross, ice cross downhill, skiing and BMX events, on custom courses from the inspiration of the athletes themselves.
Upcoming Red Bull Signature Series programming includes:
· Dreamline – Saturday, November 9 at 5p.m. ET/2p.m. PT – Taking place at Angel Fire Resort in New Mexico, Red Bull Dreamline showcases the best BMX dirt competitors. Conceived by pro rider Anthony Napolitan, with a course brought to life by master builder Adam Aloise, fans can tune into the action on NBC on November 9, as part of the Red Bull Signature Series.
