Today sees the release of the first episode of the brand new series ‘Kriss Kyle: Riding Shotgun’. The series follows Kriss as he travels across the globe to ride with four of his heroes who have influenced his progression; experiencing new cities and riding spots, filming split edits with each rider along the way. First up,
Kriss leaves Unit 23 in Glasgow to head to Canada to spend time with
Drew Bezanson, a rider who is
“…completely different compared to most riders, he goes higher than anyone else, he’s not scared to do his stuff” according to
Kriss. The respect is obviously mutual as
Drew says,
“I’ve watched a tonne of Kriss’s edits and I’m a fan of his…he’s so creative!” Drew invites Kriss to ride the renowned Joyride Park as well as some of Toronto’s hidden riding spots under the guidance of filmer
Justen Soule, who uses the trip to put together an edit of two of the most creative riders in BMX, which drops at the end of the episode. The second installment of ‘Riding Shotgun’, out on the 7th November, sees Kriss head to Barcelona for the Summer X-Games
