Saturday, November 2, the Atlantic Bike Stunt Alliance will host the Third Annual BMX Fest in uptown Greenville’s Five Points Plaza, located at the corner of Evans Street and Fifth Street. The event will feature the 2013 Trans Jam BMX Contest Series Final Stop, which includes Park, Flatland, and Street competitions, for BMX riders of all ages and skill levels. Pros will compete for a $5,000 purse. In addition, the festival will include a Vintage Bike Display, Classic Car Show presented by S & D Auto Restorations, live entertainment and an
assortment of vendors. This year the festival we be introducing a new section called KidzVille, which will include some favorites from the past and some new additions such as the Legend Race Obstacle Course Climbing Walls and face painting. Children will also have the opportunity to take part in the Hyper Bikes Kids Art Contest for the chance to win a new bike, spend some time with Coco the Clown, and much more!
Greenville, NC is known in the action sports community as the BMX capital of the world. It has been dubbed the Epicenter of BMX, or Protown USA, currently home to more professional BMX riders and X Games medals than any other city on the planet. As a hub of BMX activity, Greenville boasts a world-renowned ramp park, Jaycee, and amongst its population of BMXers numerous X Games, Gravity Games, and Dew Action Sports Tour competitors; even a few video game characters!
BMX Fest is a family-friendly event and free to the public. In addition to the variety of aforementioned activities, guests will also have the chance to witness some of the riders seen on “America’s Got Talent” battling for the pro purse, get autographs, and meet their favorite pros.

A Pre-Party will be held at Buffalo Wild Wings from 8pm-11pm on Friday November 1 off of Arlington Rd. An After Party will be held at the Varsity Club of Greenville and Peasants Pub on Saturday night, November 2 from 9pm-midnight. Both are located on E. Fifth Street.
