You wouldn't expect a dirt contest to happen on a Wednesday in The Netherlands. Wapenveld isn't necessarily a town that's on the BMX map either, but that will change. On 27 April, during Kingsday, when the whole of Holland turns orange, Monster Energy is presenting a big dirt comp with big names. Ben Wallace (England) and Kyle Baldock (Australia) are on the riders list. They'll be going to the Simple Session afterwards but first the current X-Games gold medalist will show Wapenveld what BMX is all about. With Monster Energy backing the event, the pro purse is €2500 Euros.
