It’s official: The seeded riders are confirmed! BMX Dirt Jump is starring world champion Great Britains Kye Forte, fellow UK-stars Ben Wallace and Ben Hennon, challenger Ryan Nyquist from the USA, Australias Ryan Guettler, Columbias Alejandro Caro, Romuald Noirot and Patrick Guimez flying the French flag and the Germanys big names Tobias Wicke and Markus Hampl.
T-Mobiles Local Support Dirt Challenge on March 15th Abflughalle Grevenbroich offers the only chance left to earn a slot for the main event. Three BMX and Mountainbike riders are able to join at the very last minute. Also given away is one T-Mobile Wildcard for the best newcomer in both categories.
Also completed is the music line-up of the Dirt Session. Third confirmed Live-Act is Jack Peñate from London! The British pop capital is buzzing with the word: Jack Peñate is the next big thing. His first 7inch „Torn On The Platform“ entered the British Single-Charts Top Ten from scratch and is played on Heavy Rotation on Germanys MTV. The Spanish-born Britrocker writes his own songs. His debut album is named “Matinee” and offers exquisite handmade Rock brought to perfection with a little help of top producer Jim Abiss (Artic Monkeys, Editors, Kasabian). The 23 year old Peñate also knows how to please a crowd. To watch Jacks hip shake is sexy as hell and makes him the official heir of Elvis Presleys infamous pelvis moves. Get the picture? If not – his performance at the Dirt Session will make you a believer. Jack Peñate, Millencolin and Sportfreunde Stiller definitely will bring the house down!
