The table at the end seemed easy and with the speed I had I could have jumped it twice. Dude, I dove in the ground frontwheel first 2 meters behind the landing and landed in the next turn. It hurt, bad! I sat in the dirt for a couple of minutes waiting for the pain to fade away. It didn't. But I made it over there and wasn't going to drive home after one run. I made sure I jumped everything around except for the biggest double before I drove home. Once home my knees were two big mellons and I was a cripled guy for the rest of the week. It taught me to put my Team Blowin' it kneepads on next time because you never know when things will go wrong. Your chain can snap too so don't think it won't happen to you. Things are getting better now though but it was hell at the time.
-Last weekend the first T-Mobile Playground comp of 2008 took place. It was good to see everyone, that's what it comes down to. The results from the head to head contest were: 1 Nyquist, 2 Guettler, 3 Hampl and 4 Wallace. The 360-contest was won by Guettler with a 360 backflip.

From David "DJ" Jones who came through with news once again:
-I saw this on a old school forum the other night & thought it interesting: Lake Cunningham Regional Skatepark in San Jose, California. The place looks amazing, very similar to the old Pipeline of the 70's/80's plus, unlike a lot of the new skateparks in the US this place is allowing bikes but only on a trial basis where rules apply apply. Check the pics & if you are in Cali & go to ride the place, respect the rules & hopefully all riders will benefit in the long term?
