Years and years ago I ordered a pair of custom Vans and waited for months before they came in. The result was sweet though because I had the pair and color that I wanted exactly. You could even pick your own sole print too back then. Vans still offers their custom program in two models: The Slip-ons and the Old Skools. If your local store doesn't carry the color you want, go crazy on the Customs page.
