We started the GT Project in 2007 to give hardcore riders a fighting chance. There are thousands of great riders in our sport, but not every one can or will get the recognition he deserves for his dedication to the scene. The GT Project is our way of rewarding progressive riders for their efforts, and a good way for us to give something back to the sport. Being a part of the GT Project is easy: first, add us to your friends. Next, send us a video. Your video should feature your riding, and it wouldn't hurt to tell us a few reasons why you think it would be cool to ride a GT.
In April we'll review all the videos we receive and send 10 GT Project frames to the best riders in the bunch. The GT Project Frame has been specially developed for this program by GT designers and
GT pro
Dave Dillewaard. It's constructed with 100% butted 4130 chromoly Sanko tubing, and the geometry and graphics were developed and approved by Dave himself.
The 10 new GT Project riders who we select this April will join current GT Project riders
Greg Ingersoll (pictured on the left)
, Mike Szczesny and
Doug Connolly. After selecting our 10 new GT Project riders we'll ship each rider a new frame and a bunch of other free stuff. To keep things fresh, we'll be doling out free shirts, stickers and other stuff all year, so upload videos as often as possible... you never know what we'll give away when we see something cool.
