Riders are in the starting blocks for the first stage of the 2024 UCI BMX Freestyle Park & Flatland World Cup, which will take place from 22 to 25 February 2024 in Enoshima (Japan). A week to go until the UCI BMX Freestyle World Cup kicks off in Japan. The world's best BMX Freestyle Park and BMX Freestyle Flatland athletes will kick off the 2024 season at the Enoshima Wave Fest, a unique festival combining action sports, live music and gastronomy.

BMX FREESTYLE PARK WORLD CUP MEN
The overall winners of the 2023 UCI BMX Freestyle World Cup, Logan MARTIN (AUS), Kieran REILLY (GBR) and Anthony JEANJEAN (FRA), have confirmed their presence at this stage in Japan. We can also count on Japanese prodigy Rimu NAKAMURA (5th place at the Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games and winner of the 2022 UCI Urban Cycling World Championships in Abu Dhabi), who will certainly be doing his utmost to be crowned champion at home!

BMX FREESTYLE PARK WORLD CUP WOMEN
Hannah ROBERTS (USA), overall winner in 2023, is challenging for her title again, with Chinese athletes Sibei SUN and Huimin ZHOU hot on her heels, having impressed by raising the level of the competition in 2023. Japan's Nene NAITO and Minato OIKE will be counting on the public to help them reach the top.

BMX FREESTYLE FLATLAND WORLD CUP MEN
Yu SHOJI (reigning world champion and winner of FISE Montpellier 2023), Kio HAYAKAWA (winner of FISE Montpellier 2022 and runner-up in 2023), Sasaki MOTO (world champion 2022)... this first World Cup stage will bring together the greatest athletes on home soil and other nations will have to outdo themselves to compete with the Japanese.

BMX FREESTYLE FLATLAND WORLD CUP WOMEN
The Japanese will also be out in force in Enoshima to win their stage. Kirara NAKAGAWA (third at the Glasgow World Championships and second at FISE Montpellier 2023) and Sakura KAWAGUCHI (third at FISE Montpellier 2023 and fourth at the 2023 World Championships) will be defending their colors on the magnificent Enoshima site. It promises to be an epic stage!
