Limited Edition Anthem/Aitken shirts

Stew Johnson made a new Anthem/Aitken T-shirt that is available at some fine BMX dealers to support Mike Aitken. The T-shirts are $20 bucks and all proceeds go to the Aitken recovery fund. Get them from DansComp, TimelessBMX, 5050BMX, CircuitBMX, Empire BMX, OBMX, TwoByFourStore or MaulsBikeShop. You can have the same shirt in your closet just like the Condor, Joe Rich, T-Nez, Taj,

Update from Mike Aitken's website:

Mike continues to improve bit by bit each day. He was given tickets to go to a Utah Jazz game last night and enjoyed seeing the game with his wife.

Mike will have his swallowing tested again this Wednesday to see if he can finally start eating solid foods again. He is also very anxious to start his physical therapy again this coming Monday. Mike isn't one to take a break and continues to work himself at home in the mean time.

For years Mike has wanted to start a clothing company on the side, now that he has a little down time on his hands he's decided to go ahead and do it. Keep checking in - hats will be available soon!

The story behind Vigilantia:

"Robore et Vigilantia", meaning "With Strength and Vigilance", is the Aitken family motto - dating back to the ancient Scottish clan.

For Mike, it was an obvious choice when looking for a name for his clothing company. With an eagle symbolizing strength, Vigilantia was born.
