The Best Urban Action on the Common at the seventh annual
Sprite Urban Games.
Yep, you’ve guessed it, Sprite Urban Games is back for 2005 with another awesome line-up, showcasing the best in Skate, BMX, FMX and B-Boy flavas!
Taking place on Clapham Common, London from Friday 22nd to Sunday 24th July, this three day festival brings together the cream of UK and International talent in action sports, break-dancing and turntablism.
£36,000!!! the largest ever UK prize purse is what competitors will be battling it out for!
The legendary Pete Turvey and Shaun Scarfe will be creating a huge bespoke Streetcouse for 2005 which will for the first time see specific days for Skate (Sat) and BMX (Sun) with the course being changed overnight. This is going to require some serious skills but wait! Sprite has a Wildcard up for grabs for the hottest rider on the public streetcourse. He or she will be picked to compete against the pro’s in front of thousands of people!
The BMX dirt jumps will be hosting team competitions this year as well as the UK Dirt Final on the Saturday, so expect high action and serious wipeouts! The BMX Flatland will in contrast showcase balance, style and even grace from a dedicated crew of riders. Not forgetting the 12ft Vertical ramp and you’ll probably be wandering what else Sprite Urban Games will be throwing into the mix?

This years Sprite Urban Games promises to go bigger than ever before, so buckle up and enjoy the ride.
Gates are open from 12 noon till 6pm on Friday 22nd July and 10 am till 8pm on Saturday 23rd & Sunday 24th July with last entry at 5:30pm. On the door tickets are priced at £10 on Friday and £15 for Saturday & Sunday. Pre-bookers receive a £2 discount on Saturday and Sunday - £13.
