-Next week FATBMX will be kicking it in Prague, Czech Republic for the FMX weekend and also to check out the venue of the 2010 IBMXFF World Championships. Yes, the Freestyle world's will be back in Prague in 2010. And don't worry, the BMX Masters will take place in Cologne, Germany again. The date for the BMX Masters is: 9-11 July 2010. Riders in the Prague who want to hook up, let me know.
-You've got 10 days left to win a whole bunch of stuff that was donated by Ali Whitton's sponsors. You will be stoked when you win this .
-The FAT FAVS list is going strong and this week we had the following riders on FATBMX:
Marc Remmert
Wastl
Denes Katona
Benny Paulsen
Daniel Tuente
Sascha Heydeman
Craig Stevens
-What we were hoping for is going to happen. RebelYell mag will now come out as a book. Hard cover and everything. Keep an eye out on the revamped website but hitting the RebelYell button in the media section.
-Do we Twitter? Yes, follow us here at: Twitter.com/fatbmx.
-Olivier Morineau, the organizer of the Vibrations Urbaines in Pessac gathered some pictures and some English text that he got from Leigh Ramsdell and we put it online. Read the report on FATBMX by hitting up this link. Bon. Yes there's a picture of that naked guy in there too.
-The new issue of RIDE UK fell on the doormat this week. If you're curious about the cover, here it is. Is it me or does it take forever before the new issue of RIDE USA is done?
-Simon Tabron off adidas, but getting ready for Berlin as you can see in this clip.
-Adam Banton off Duffs.
-We've heard talks about a Vans Street ride in Eindhoven some time this summer. Sounds good to me, especially if they keep on building structures like this. After the huge turn out at the opening jam at Pim's indoor place in Eindhoven, the session that followed had 26 riders and was a lot better if you actually wanted to ride the set up. Opening hours again: 7pm-11pm on Friday nights and 6pm-11pm on Saturdays. The Building, Strip-S, Eindhoven (de gekste).
-Some are looking for gold, some are looking for dinosaur bones but if you're looking for a vintage frame, here it is. This is one of the first quadangle frames found alive. It will be up for auction soon so keep your eyes out on eBay for this historical piece. More info can be found in this post.
-A naked chick on the front cover of a BMX magazine. Leave that up to Cream.
-Some members of the Vans Euro team went to Cali to ride Home Ave ditch, the Vans ramp, Hollywood, Paxton's trails and more. They're back home now.
-TJ Ellis on Alienation
-This week alone we posted over 50 new videos on FATBMX. They're stored in the Believe it, or not!? section. Double check if you watched everything.
-We took a trip to De Berenkuil again so be ready for some new graffiti in the Comic 'n Art section.
-Tomorrow we're picking up some excellent Gymnastic mats to build a resi-jump at the Helm Trails in Helmond. They'll be stored inside the container but will come out whenever someone wants to try something new and does not want to land hard. The Helm Trails also got a Facebook set up. Search for Facebook.com/Helmtrails Helmond and you'll get close to signing up as a friend. You can see the development of the spot as well as Helm Jam photos there.
-Ralf Maier's BMX Book is now at the printers'. A full on book full with BMX how-to's. Comes with a DVD too. It should be all done at the beginning of December. For a preview, go HERE.
-Matt Priest on Kink.
-Are Mark Vos and Jay Eggleston working on a new clothing sponsor deal? How does that work riding shirtless and having a shirt sponsor?
-Who said they weren't crazy back in the day?
Thanks again to the sponsors of the FATBMX site. Because of them we have been able to run this baby without any stupid google ads. We're trying to keep it BMX over here. Next time you buy sneakers, clothing or a new bike, look at those banners for reference. They're into it just as much as we are.
