If you're in Czech Republic or feel like a road trip, this could be an option for you.
BMXtreme fest is a sport & music event which takes place on 17. - 19. September in the historical Telč (Czech Republic). Part of this event is a BMX miniramp contest (in spine miniramp) with prize money 20 000 CZK (aprox 780 euro). Among the confirmed riders are Marin Ranteš, Michael Beran and others. Contest is held in categorie amateur and pro.
In addition to BMX races, the event will include a bike film screening, a pumptrack contest, as well as concerts by well-known bands and DJs.

After the first 2021 stop in Le Havre, the French Urban Sports tour will make a stop in Canet-en-Roussillon on September 18th and 19th for BMX and Roller Freestyle Park competitions. The Drug Aware Groundswell Festival at Scarborough Beach in Western Australia has grown steadily into a fantastic event over the past few years. A vital inclusion last year was the BMX bowl battle competition delivered last year by Freestyle Now, the world's longest running action sports enterprise based right here in Western Australia. “With Australia’s Logan Martin’s recent BMX Park Gold Medal win at the Tokyo Olympics, competitions such as this are critical to nurturing our next generation of BMX riders”, said Shaun Jarvis, BMX stunt show rider and owner of Freestyle Now.

The official NK BMX Freestyle 2021 will take place in Skateland Rotterdam on Saturday 11 and Sunday 12 September. In that weekend it will be determined who can call themselves Dutch BMX Freestyle Champion for a year. BMX was part of the Olympic Games for the first time in Tokyo this year and is now officially an Olympic sport. Fans can now also attend an impressive championship closer to home. The NK BMX Freestyle 2021 is part of Rotterdam Street Culture Week that takes place in Skateland, among other places.
Three disciplines
In addition to the traditional Park and Street disciplines that were introduced in 2018 and 2020, a new discipline has been added. Flatland is an officially recognized part of the Dutch Championship for the first time. National Championships are now being held in 3 BMX Freestyle disciplines. 'Street' is ridden on the Street Park course where mainly tricks are done from stairs and rails. Park is ridden on the 'Park' course that mainly has high quarterpipes, boxes and spines'. 'Flatland' is sometimes called 'breakdancing with a BMX bike', the participants perform on a flat floor and do various tricks and combinations there. On Saturday September 11, the competition will take place in the Street and Flatland categories. The Park category will be held on Sunday 12 September.
Rotterdam Street Culture Week
Rotterdam is full of talents and grass roots initiatives in the field of street art, hip hop and urban sports.
Rotterdam is the city when it comes to street culture and that should be celebrated. For the fourth year, Rotterdam Street Culture Week takes place! From 4 to 12 September, Rotterdam will be dominated by street culture for a week and the streets, especially in South, will be filled with street art, urban sports and hip hop. During RSCW, the various disciplines, such as graffiti art, BMX, breakdance, street football and spoken word, are connected, blurring the dividing lines and allowing residents and visitors of the city to meet each other.
During this packed week, the different disciplines of street culture are well represented. For example, the sport discipline is represented by NK BMX 2021, skateboarding, roller skating, dance, freerunning,
BMX Freestyle Park was recognized as an Olympic discipline by the IOC in 2017 and has seen rapid development since then. Some of the best BMX riders will now meet for an exclusive show event at EUROBIKE 2021. For this purpose, an imposing ramp is being built in the action area, which has also been used at world championships and which leaves nothing to be desired. At the end of the day, the “Lord of the Lake” is awarded to those who pull off the toughest tricks in the “Best Trick” session.
The free practice starts on Thursday and there are three half-hour show sessions on Friday and Saturday. Of course, every rider wants to accelerate and push the limits in order to be crowned “Lord of the Lake” in the late afternoon. So there will be a lot of action in every session, after all, the field of riders is very top-class and the format allows you to concentrate on very difficult and risky tricks.
