Monster Energy congratulates Kyle Baldock on being crowned the overall champion of the inaugural three-stop Toyota BMX Triple Challenge. A scaled-down event that’s sole focus is to progress the level of tricks possible, the Toyota BMX Triple Challenge brought the best riders in the world to compete in a two jump, winner takes all huckfest. With a first place win in Anaheim, CA and a second place in Glendale, AZ, Baldock came to the third and final event in Atlanta with an 11-point lead. But, with the unique format of the event that gives points to the Best Trick event winner, the overall championship was really open for several heavy hitters to include Brandon Loupos, Nick Bruce, and Logan Martin to take the win.

The progression continues in Glendale, Arizona, as the best dirt riders in the world hit the Toyota BMX Triple Challenge just before the gate drops at the Monster Energy Supercross series. With the points race in full swing, Monster's own Kyle Baldock came out swinging, but it was the relative unknown, Brian Fox, who was able to put it together in his final run and take the win. The third and final stop of the Triple Challenge will go down in Atlanta, Georgia, on February 25th and we'll be crowning a champion. See you there!

This event was the first of a three-stop dirt series that will take place during select Monster Energy Supercross events. The Toyota BMX Triple Challenge aims to bring together the best BMX riders in the world with a points-based, open series for anyone in the world to take part in. The first event, held during A1 in Anaheim, California, was an amazing intro to the series with riders coming from as far as Poland and Australia for their chance to compete against 50 riders in this new, world-class event.
Monster Energy is proud to announce the 2017 Toyota BMX Triple Challenge at Monster Energy Supercross, a three-stop series that brings together the best BMX dirt riders in the world and combines the best of two worlds, on two wheels. The Toyota BMX Triple Challenge will take place during the Monster Energy Supercross events with the first event on January 6-7 in Anaheim, CA, followed up by the January 27-28 event in Glendale, AZ, and the final event will be on February 24-25 in Atlanta, GA at Motofest.
