So here we are...yet another trip, but this time with some of Dutch greatest riders visiting California. Barry Kohne, Mark Vos and “Opa” Marek de Heus had visited HB a week before right after Interbike in Vegas, where they actually brought over Niels Thanild from Simple BMX, Denmark and Rutger Pauw a great photographer from Holland. Barry, Mark and Marek were planning a week at Woodward West, while Niels flew back home (which he can tell you the craziest story on how he got back) and Rutger chilled in San Diego. This is where I chose to join the peeps in Woodward on their last weekend there, I was there at the grand opening, so my mind was already set on certain lines at one of the most anticipated parks on the West Coast. 

Stolen BMX is going to make a lot of BMX’ers happy this Holiday Season by releasing ALL of the Limited Edition Color Team Cranks, as well as introducing a new Team Light Crank option. Stolen Limited Edition Color Team Cranks- Stolen BMX debuted seven new (Limited Edition) colors for their Team Cranks at the 2006 Interbike Show this year. “We were originally going to offer a small run of each color, and then maybe switch to another color after three or four months. The response that we got from people on the Limited Edition Color cranks has been amazing. Dealers have been pre-booking all of the colors, and don’t want to wait for any of the colors, so we decided to offer all of the colors at once.” 

What do you do when the winter is setting in? You update your website or re-design it, and put on a  BMX jam at the local indoor park. When it's getting difficult to ride outside or make plans to go to an outdoor spot, it's nice to look up the indoor parks. They need your support too. Over in  Switzerland the BMX-Tradition crew have recently  changed their website. If you can read German, you  can find out what they're about. If not, enjoy the pics in the team section. 

Over in Switzerland VANS and PRO-TEC are supporting an indoor DIRT night event on 25 November.  It' will be held at the Magic park, the park where magic happens so you might learn a new trick or two. Click the flyer for URL's that will get you all the info you need.

MADISON, Wis. – November, 2006 – The 2006 BMX Vert competition season came to an end on Sunday, Oct. 29 with the LG World Championships held in Dallas Texas at the Reunion Arena. For Mongoose Vert pro Simon Tabron, it closed another chapter of success and dedication to the sport he loves. Simon was still a bit sore from the knee/ankle/foot injuries from Florida two weeks earlier but he soon forgot about the pain as he soared over the comp’s massive 14.5’ vert ramp. Tabron qualified in 2nd place for the finals, confirming to himself that he'd recovered enough from his injuries to have some fun in the finals.

“After putting a really clean first run together, I found myself in 2nd place behind Chad Kagy with one chance left to change things around,” said Tabron. “For run two I decided to try a 900 straight into another 900. It's been an ambition of mine for a while but it’s basically impossible! I spun the first 900 at about nine feet, hoping to land smooth enough to keep speed for a second but it just wasn't quite enough and I had to settle for 2nd place! Still, it was the biggest 900 I had ever done!”

RebelYell BMX magazine is a team made up of riders who are also photographers, writers and designers who share a thirst for BMX, travel, art, music and life. They have been in the sport for a long time and have seen BMX go through its ups and downs. So finally after a long time waiting, they have set sail to build RebelYell BMXMAG, a medium to document the very essence of riding and its many unique personalities.

The RebelYell team has set out to create a rider's magazine that tells it how it is, leaving nothing for interpretation and showing all aspects of riding and its "lifestyle". They don't see any other way of living like they do... rolling on 20's!!! The aim is to create every issue as individual as the characters that fill the pages. That is where the magazine's appearance is very important to them.

Alex Jumelin is organizing a Christmas jam. You need to know than this not like the Braun Ninja Spin. The Christmas jam is more a familly jam with all the friends who support flatland years after years. There are many reasons why you have to come to this jam:
-1st Paris is butifull during December with all the lights and all the people are happy preparing for Christmas.
-2nd enjoy 2 days of good riding from the morning to the night together in my nice spot.
-3rd if you come you will see me riding with the Santa Claus suit.
-4th if you win one of the contests that we will organize (funky,jungler,wiplash.........) you will for sure go back home with a lot of chocolate.
