The etnies park in Lake Forest has limited BMX access. They're throwing a BMX contest on 12 November so save that day to ride the shit out of the park.  After being denied access to the park to take pictures twice we were asked to donate prizes to the contest. We denied this time.

Anyway, if you're living in the area or have always wanted to ride the park, the Fall Classic is your day. If you forget to pre-register it's $ 25 USD to enter. Sign up starts at 8am! 25 riders maximum per class. Click the flyer for more info on the several classes and for the full address.

We are the Brookings bikers and we have been constantly kicked out of the skatepark and left with no place to ride. All we would like is a fair treatment and be allowed into the park. The most common misconception is that BMX bikes physically damage the skatepark structures. Bikes ride on rubber tires, unlike skateboards and rollerblades, which use urethane wheels. Occasionally a rider, just like a skateboarder or rollerblader, will perform a stall or grind.

Starting from 1 January 2007 4Down distribution will do the exclusive UK distribution of S&M, Fit Bike Co., Metal Bikes and Revenge. In other 4Down news, their limited edition 4Down seats (pictured) will be available shortly. The United Trinity and Squad frames are available now as are the United seats, forks, handlebars and sprockets.
