Q: So you are off Morphine Industries, any new team lined up?
A: Right now I'm just focusing on my racing and see what comes my way! I believe all good things come to those who wait.. so that's what I'll do!
Q: Monterey/Santa Cruz is a pretty relaxed place, is it difficult to stay focused and working hard? I know a lot of MX racers move to Florida to avoid the distractions in California.
A: Monterey is a really relaxed place, so I actually use that to my advantage. I like how it's relaxed, so it keeps my mind clear and relaxed.

A: This season I'm doing the ABA, NBL, and UCI SX races.
Q: How did your first race go as a AA Pro?
A: My First official AA Pro race was the 2010 ABA Grands. I turned AA on the Saturday. I made the main, so I was pretty stoked cause it was a STACKED race.

A: I've got a blog going for now.. I'm looking at getting a website up and running this season. If anyone wants to check it out at www.GLUBBEco.blogspot.com I do some race updates and other things from
time to time.
Q: Do you ever get a chance to race back home in South Africa? The two race scenes must be quite different?
A: I race in SA about twice a year. The two race scenes are quite different. SA is really stepping it up competition wise. They have a great national coach (Jonnathan Chislett) that is doing wonders for the program they have down there. In the US there is a big race every month so the level is high and fast over here.
Q: What do you for work when you are not training or riding?
A: When I'm not racing I'm usually doing clinics for the kids and just putting back into BMX. I also do things for the little team I run on a local level called Team GLUBBECO. I help them o

Q: Any US immigration horror stories? Seem bizarre things seem to happen now and again in the name of "national security".
A: To this point in time I've had none thankfully lol
Q: Who are some South African riders in the wings? Anyone you placing bets on to break t

A: Right now there are some good racers coming up. Currently Kyle Dodd (Jr Men) is living with me for a few months to train and hit the first couple of races here. Miguel Caravalho has also stepped it up big time in the past season.
Q: Since you are in Norcal how often do you abuse the word "hella"?
A: Haha I'm glad I got this question. Personally I can't STAND that word. So many people around here use it, it grinds my gears.
Q: Avoiding extra bike shipping charges at airports: got any tricks?
A: I've had my fare share of questions being asked when you check in. I use the OGIO golf bag. I often get asked what's in the bag as I walk up with my helmet in hand. I've used the "street luge" before.. hardly any of them know what it is so they just pack it on the

Q: Best track ever?
A: Best track I would have to say is Lexington, South Carolina. I've spent a lot of time on it and honestly flows so well!
Q: Do you fly to the races or road trip it?
A: For the most part I fly, but I do have some good ole road trips with the boys which are always a blast!
Thanks to: Would just like to say thanks to you for the interview and all my friends and family for all the support and to my Lord for keeping me safe and able to do what I love doing!
