USA Cycling is pleased to introduce Chase BMX, a division of the Bicycle Racing Group (BRG), as an official sponsor of its BMX Junior Development Program (JDP). The two-year sponsorship, which began this month and ends in December of 2013, will see Chase supply BMX frames, as well as other BRG products, to USA Cycling’s JDP camps.
The JDP camps, which are held at the Olympic Training Center in Chula Vista, Calif., provide opportunities for top 15- and 16-year-old racers to receive high performance training on the Supercross World Cup BMX track.
"Chase BMX is proud to work with USA Cycling and the future of the sport of BMX, the Junior Development Program,” said BRG Strategic Partner
Pete Dylewski.
“We at Chase BMX will demonstrate the brand’s commitment to not only support athlete growth, but also to work with the sport’s youth to help develop and bring new products
into the race market, with direct development from riders of all ages.”
“We are delighted to have Chase BMX partner with our Junior Development Program for the next two years,” said
Mike King, USA Cycling’s BMX Program Director.
“We believe Chase BMX is the ideal sponsor for the Junior Development Program because they are a hands-on company who supports our youth at all levels. They will receive unique feedback from our riders during camps and it also provides Chase BMX with an opportunity to observe future talent up close on an Olympic style BMX track. The next Connor Fields could be found in that Junior Development Program.” USA Cycling holds four JDP camps each year. The camp dates for 2012 are scheduled for April 2-7, June 18-23, Aug. 13-18, and Oct. 15-20.
Riders qualify to attend the camps with results during one of four qualification periods in USA Cycling’s BMX Junior Development Series. To learn more about the series, the camps, or how to qualify, please visit USA Cycling’s BMX Junior Development Program
