FACTORY FORMULA’S DONNY ROBINSON WINS UCI VIRGINIA - Woodbridge, Virginia –
Factory Formula / Monster Energy / Fly Racing’s Donny Robinson, rockin’ his new Formula/HP uniform, killed it in Virginia with a UCI win on Saturday. dR grabbed some much needed UCI points and inched ever closer to that coveted Olympic team roster spot. On his Solution Pro, Donny backed up his win with a third place podium finish in Elite Open. On Sunday, dR showed the consistency that made him the most successful pro in ’06, with a third place podium finish in Elite Men’s. Another Formula sponsored rider, Tim Dinger, rode his Solution Pro Plus to a second and a third in Elite Masters in Virginia.
dR has his eyes on the Olympics and has been riding well in ’07. Two weeks ago in Spain, against a stacked field, Donny was the top American at the UCI Supercross in Madrid with a fourth place in the main. Look for dR next at ABA Roseville, where he hopes to use his home-track advantage to grab some wins.
