Why did you choose to ride a DK?
Stuart: Having a connection with a brand is almost as important as the geometry. It was a close match to my previous frame but being friends with some of DK's riders made the ultimate decision for me.
You're starting a little mailorder company, what brands are you going to carry?
Stuart: Forced to keep it small at first I really wanted brands I liked and were not available enough in the Netherlands. At the moment I will carry most parts of DK, Demolition, Maxxis tires and Triple Eight helmets. Still looking into some other brand as well.
Do you make sure you have parts on your bike that you're also selling?
Stuart: Not really no, I like to try out a lot of new shapes and sizes. This bike for me is a combination of the best products in my opinion.
Do you care about the looks of your bike?
Stuart: Yes I sure do. Having a nice bike makes me more stoked to ride on it. Riding more equals having more fun.
Are you picky on how it rolls?
Stuart: It needs to run smooth or it can really effect my mood. Luckily I work at a bikeshop in my spare time so I am able to keep everything running just the way it should.
What are the modifications you made to your bike?
Stuart: Cut my bars to about 27,5" and I made small modifications to my brakes to keep everything from flexing unnecessary but that's about it.
