What was your first thought when you saw your new Cherry Red Simple frame?
Pim: I must be colorblind! Definitely not the Cherry Red I had in mind but it’s still nice though!
The only option for a colour matching parts line would have been neutral. Any reason for all the chrome on your bike?

Loads of people are going brakeless, do you think you'll ever go that route?
Pim: No, because you can ride brakeless with a brake on your bike. Just don’t pull it.

Pim: Not really haha. The day after the pre-opening session I did a couple of rounds in the park, actually the first time I really went for a ride instead of testing something. I fell on my pedal in foam and damaged my thigh muscle. After 8 month of not riding my bike my muscles couldn’t handle the hit. I’ve been limping for the last 3 weeks and will go for a ride again this week. I didn’t really ride the park and my new bike so can’t wait!
What part on your bike are you the most stoked on?
Pim: I’m stoked on the Simple EZ x Simple Jetset 9” setup. My bike does feel pretty big and that’s pretty comfortable since I’m pretty tall. I really like the chrome on my bike too!
Any special modifications you did to your bike?
Pim: No, it’s Simple and clean enough already!
Thanks to: Paul’s Boutique BMX Hardware store, Simple Bike Co, Vans, Pro-tec and FATBMX for this bikecheck!
